There’s something magical about preparing for your wedding.
She was radiant from the very first light of the morning, in a suite overlooking the Tuscan hills — surrounded by her closest friends, laughter filling the room, and that quiet excitement you can almost touch.
The atmosphere? A perfect mix of emotion, soft conversations, clinking glasses, and a few tears (the good kind!). Someone adjusted her dress, someone offered comforting words, and others just tried not to cry while looking at her.
Every now and then, she paused, took a deep breath, and smiled — that kind of smile that says “Here we are.”
They had come all the way from Michigan for this. And I, behind the camera, could only smile and fall in love with every single moment.

On the other side of the villa, he was getting ready with his longtime friends.
Between fixing collars and sharing jokes, every now and then he’d pause… and smile quietly to himself. That smile of someone about to step into something unforgettable.
A quick toast, a firm hug, a deep breath in front of the mirror — here we are.

They traveled all the way from Michigan to say their vows in beautiful Tuscany. When the wedding day arrived, the rain threatened to change everything.
At first, it felt chaotic. Plans shifting and so much uncertainty and frustration. But in the end, they chose to stick with their original plan, embracing the rain and the moment fully.
After all, they had come all this way to San Gimignano for this view, this feeling, this promise. And a little rain wasn’t going to stop them.

And now imagine San Gimignano all for the bride and groom. Yes, because the rain kept everyone else away… and gave us a silent, poetic, beautiful village. The shiny alleys, the wet stones, the air full of quiet. A dream.
A dinner between warm lights and toasts
The dinner took place at a Tuscan winery: warm lights, tables beautifully set with care, the sound of clinking glasses, and delicious dishes served with love.
Heartfelt speeches, genuine laughter, sparkling eyes, and hands gently touching — the atmosphere was filled with connection.
There was a feeling of home, a deep bond shared by everyone present. Spontaneous toasts and stories exchanged between courses became the heart of the celebration.
And the rain? Completely forgotten.
The moment of the party
The moment the music begins always carries a little magic. Hand in hand, the bride and groom stepped into their first dances with contagious joy.
I captured the details that tell the real story — a shoe slipped off, a dress moving with the rhythm, a couple holding each other as if nothing else existed. Parents dancing with their children, friends laughing and swaying arm in arm.
Just good music, good people, and love filling the air.
Conclusion
If I think back to this day, it still makes me smile. The rain, the emotions, San Gimignano all for us… It was all so authentic, so full of life. I photographed looks, hugs, laughter and silences that spoke a thousand words.
