When Vanessa and Chris first reached out, they didn’t have a fixed vision, only a feeling. During our first planning call, we explored possibilities together, walking through locations, moods, and real-life examples until everything started to click. What emerged was a plan that felt like them, thoughtful and intentional in every detail.

Pantheon – Sunrise Start
They chose to start their elopement at sunrise, when the city is quieter and easier to move through. The itinerary wasn’t random: we had planned it together during a detailed call, where I listened to what they wanted and built a route that matched their priorities. The goal was simple, a calm beginning for the two of them, followed by the second part of the day with their parents.
Roman Forum – Early Morning Walk
From there, we moved toward the Roman Forum area. The couple had asked for a custom route with iconic spots but without crowds, so we used a private car to jump quickly between locations. The Forum at this hour feels suspended, almost still.
Piazza Navona Morning Stop
Piazza Navona was our next stop. We chose it because it offers both open space and quieter corners, which worked well with the pace they wanted for this first part of the day. The goal was to keep everything natural: walking, talking, and letting them move without interruptions.
At the end of this stop, they tried a classic Italian breakfast: cornetti, cappuccino, and espresso before continuing the route.
Trastevere – Family Joins In
In Trastevere we met the four parents. The atmosphere changed naturally: more voices, more interaction, but still the same direct, unstaged approach. We kept everything simple, letting the family enjoy the walk and the time together.
Before heading to the Colosseum, the couple took a short break to get an ice cream — a simple moment that fit perfectly into the pace of the day.
Colosseum – Intimate Ceremony
We ended the day at the Colosseum for a short, intimate ceremony. The private car allowed us to arrive quickly and avoid the busiest areas. The couple exchanged vows with their parents close by, keeping the moment grounded and real.
This elopement from the USA to Rome was built around real moments, a clear plan, and a pace that allowed the couple to enjoy every part of the day. From the sunrise session to the ceremony at the Colosseum, everything followed the route we had designed together during our organizational calls.
